Abstract
Informing and training rice farmers is essential for participatory irrigation management. Participatory irrigation management refers to the involvement of irrigation users in all aspects of irrigation management and at all levels. In this regard, this study aimed at investigating the impact of training on participatory irrigation management of rice farms in Sari County in 2024. The statistical population of study includes rice farmers of Sari County in Mazandaran Province (N= 25203). According to Cochran's formula and stratified random sampling method, 275 rice farmers were selected as a statistical sample. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into two main sections: participatory irrigation management and extension training with a Likert scale.
