Marginalization is one of the prominent figures of urban cultural and economic poverty. The present study was designed to investigate the empowerment strategiesof rural marginalized villages in Ilam. This research in terms of the paradigm type is a part of quantitative research. In terms of the research’s goal, this study is applied research and in terms of the type of data collecting, is surveying research in which the statistical society consists of all the marginalization of the city of Ilam. The sample size was determined by Cochran's formula of 200 people and the sample was selected by simple random sampling method. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.7-0.9 was calculated using SPSS software for the reliability of the questionnaire and its validity was verified by 3 faculty members mentors and consultants. The results showed that the marginalized urbanites are 3.55 in terms of psychological dimension, 3.14 in social, 2.57 in political, and 2.57 in economic. Given that political empowerment has not been created in marginalized countries, and the realization of this issue requires a proper setting, it is recommended to emphasize solutions to remove these barriers, such as the process of gender justice, help to increase the political knowledge of marginalized people, and so on.
